At the Blue Church, we refer often to ourselves as a family, a spiritual family, whose ties to one another come from having the same heavenly Father. And as God’s children, our goal is to feed on His word, grow in His grace, bask in His love, share His good news of salvation, and grant forgiveness just as bountifully as we have received it through Jesus Christ. The Bible, God’s revelation of Truth to us, often speaks of His people as walking with Him. That is what we are doing. Not rocketing, flying, sailing, riding, or even running. Just walking. In our hurry-up cyber-world, God’s realities are not “virtual, ” and we think it’s important to remember that it takes time and patience (with ourselves and one another) to make this journey.
